By accessing or using Minos ("the Service"), a decentralized genomic variant calling network built on Bittensor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including miners, validators, and dashboard viewers.
Minos is a decentralized subnet on Bittensor that incentivizes accurate genomic variant calling:

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using Minos, you represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. Participation as a miner or validator requires technical knowledge and compliance with applicable laws.

Minos software is provided under open-source licenses. The Minos name, logo, and branding are proprietary. Miners retain ownership of their variant calling implementations. The network does not claim ownership of VCF outputs produced by miners.
TAO token emissions are distributed by Bittensor based on weights set by validators. Minos does not guarantee any specific level of emissions or returns. Token values fluctuate and participation involves financial risk. Users are responsible for tax compliance. The scoring algorithm may be updated.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND:

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MINOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF EMISSIONS RECEIVED IN THE 30 DAYS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with an updated revision date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Significant changes will be communicated through the dashboard or community channels.
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or at our discretion. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Service. Provisions regarding IP, disclaimers, and liability survive termination.
